The regional chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL), based in the Slippery Rock area and congressional district 3, will meet this week, Wednesday, January 17 at 6:00 PM at the Robert A Macoskey Center for Sustainable Systems Education and Research on Slippery Rock University’s campus (247 Harmony Road).Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a “non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change.” Taking a respectful approach to climate education and building on shared values within communities, CCL works toward “the adoption of fair, effective and sustainable climate change solutions. All who are interested are invited to attend this meeting to learn more about these the organization, as well as possibilities for action within congressional district #3.
