The next event hosted by the Slow Food chapter of Slippery Rock University will be held on Thursday, February 26th at 6:00 PM. Due to the great turnout for the January event and the need for more space, this one will be held at the Slippery Rock Alliance Church, 530 Kiester Road. Students and community members alike are welcome to attend.
This month’s theme is “Crock Pot Meals,” featuring dishes that can be made in a slow cooker. Creativity is encouraged! In order to reduce disposables and model sustainable practices, attendees are asked to bring their own (reusable) place setting, including plate, bowl, eating utensils and cup or mug.
