This year’s speaker is Sophia Buggs, proprietor and operator of Lady Buggs Farm in Youngstown, OH. Sophia’s mission is to reclaim the sacred roots of farming through sustainable spiritual living, and to revitalize her community by offering wellbeing from seed to table. Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story is a documentary about food waste in agriculture, retail stores, and in people’s own refrigerators. This event is co-hosted by the Macoskey Center and the Women’s Center at Slippery Rock University as part of the “Women and the Environment” film series.
