Earth Days Events at Slippery Rock University

earth days 2016Slippery Rock University has unveiled its schedule of events for Earth Days 2016 
Highlights of the series include featured speaker Richard Alley on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:30 PM at the Advanced Technology & Science Hall Auditorium.  A well-known and respected scientist, researcher and author, Dr. Alley will present:“Energy, Climate and Our Future: Big Challenges and Bigger Opportunities.”  This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity!
A free Community E-Waste Collection will be held on Friday, April 22 (Earth Day) and Saturday, April 23 from 10 AM – 2 PM each day at the SRU Recycling Center on Kiester Road (access behind the SRU Police Building).  Find details and information about types of electronic waste that will be/will not be accepted at: http://www.sru.edu/Documents/about/sustainability/2016%20e-waste%20collection%20program%20description.pdf
Saturday, April 23 will feature the Kids’ Kaleidoscope Earth Day Celebration 11 AM – 4 PM at the Macoskey Center, 247 Harmony Road; (rain location: University Union) see www.facebook.com/MacoskeyCenter  for all the details!
