April Slow Food event is last of the semester

Join Slippery Rock University’s Slow Food chapter on Thursday, April 28 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Sustainable Enterprise Accelerator, 165 Elm Street in Slippery Rock. Community members, as well as students, are welcome to attend.  This will be the last event of the semester.
Soup and bread will be featured this month. Participants are asked to bring one or the other of these to share with others, as well as their own place setting (plate, cup, utensils) to reduce disposable waste. Lori Sands of Silver Wheel Farm near Harrisville will give a presentation on baking organic sourdough breads. Ashley Beal will provide music.
